RACE DATES APPLICATIONS - WESTERN FAIR,
CLINTON, WOODSTOCK AND HIAWATHA
By Ruling Gen 007/2003 issued with Reasons for Decision dated December 3, 2003, the Commission approved applications for race dates for Woodstock, Hiawatha, Clinton and Western Fair race tracks for the 2004 season on the condition that by January 15, 2004, each of the four tracks file an amended application adding dates to the calendar.
Responses have been received from each of the four tracks.
It does not appear that Ontario Harness Horse Association has been advised of the responses. In order to receive input from OHHA and other stakeholders, given the potential implications of the responses for other tracks, we are instructing the Administration to circulate a summary of the responses to the Commission's ruling to OHHA and the other stakeholders.
Those who receive a copy of the summary and who wish to provide comment to the Commission for consideration in its determination as to its approval of the 2004 race dates for these tracks should address those comments to the Commission through the Administration in writing within 10 days of receipt of the summary.
