On April 6, 2004, Chair Lynda Tanaka convened to hear teletheatre licence applications from Sudbury Downs Raceway, Rideau Carleton Raceway and Woodbine Entertainment Group via teleconference from Toronto.
Jason Hines represented Sudbury Downs Raceway from Chelmsford, Ontario. Reg MacFarlene represented Rideau Carleton Raceway from Ottawa. Brian Brett represented Woodbine Entertainment Group from Rexdale. Manager of Information Services Wendy Hoogeveen represented the Administration in Toronto.
Upon hearing the submissions, the Ontario Racing Commission approved teletheatre licences as follows:
