RANDY FRITZ
Standardbred Owner/Driver/Trainer Randy Fritz (H9387) appealed from the Ontario Racing Industry Board of Appeal's decision of May 15, 2003 disallowing his appeal from Judges Ruling Number SB 28048 wherein he was suspended from driving for three days for violation of Rule 22.05(h) of the Rules of Standardbred Racing while driving the horse BARBARAS BABY in the 10th race at Woodbine Raceway on March 6, 2003.
On November 6, 2003, Vice Chair Larry Todd and Commissioners Patricia Bullock and Bernard Brennan, DVM, of the Ontario Racing Commission convened to hear the appeal.
David Boughton appeared on behalf of Mr. Fritz and Don Bourgeois appeared for the Administration.
Upon hearing the testimony of William Fines and Randy Fritz, upon reading the exhibits and upon hearing the submissions on behalf of the parties, the Ontario Racing Commission dismissed the appeal.
