PATRICK BOISSONNEAULT AND PAUL BOISSONNEAULT
Thoroughbred owners Patrick Boissonneault and Paul Boissonneault appealed the decision of the Ontario Racing Industry Board of Appeal, dated September 18, 2003, upholding the decision of the Stewards to disqualify the horse MISS SUNSATION from 2nd position and to place it 7th for interference with GANHARVA during the running of the 4th race on July 13, 2003 at Woodbine Racetrack.
On November 26, 2003, Vice-Chair Larry Todd and Commissioners Brenda Walker and Bernard Brennan, DVM, of the Ontario Racing Commission convened to hear the appeal.
Dan McMahon appeared on behalf of Messrs. Boissonneault and Don Bourgeois appeared on behalf of the Administration.
Upon hearing the evidence of Gunnar Lundberg, Richard Dos Ramos, Sunny Singh and Patrick Boissonneault, upon reading the exhibits and upon hearing the submissions of the parties, the Ontario Racing Commission dismissed the appeal.
