AND IN THE MATTER OF THOROUGHBRED OWNER RICHARD JUKOSKY
Thoroughbred owner Richard Jukosky appealed the results of the 8th race on September 28, 2003 at Woodbine Racetrack involving the horses LENNY THE LENDER (owned by Richard Jukosky), which finished 2nd, and BOWMAN MILL (owned by Dr. John Chandler), which finished 1st.
On December 3, 2003, Vice-Chair Larry Todd and Commissioners Pat Bullock and Bernard Brennan, DVM of the Ontario Racing Commission convened to hear the appeal.
Mr. Jukosky appeared on his own behalf, Dan McMahon appeared on behalf of Dr. John Chandler, and Don Bourgeois appeared on behalf of the Administration.
Upon hearing the evidence of Nelson Ham, Ivan McHutchion, Dr. Greg Taylor, DVM and Chantal Sutherland, upon reading the exhibits and upon hearing the submissions of the parties, the Ontario Racing Commission dismissed the appeal and confirmed the order of finish.
