On July 11, 2002, Chair Stanley Sadinsky Q.C. convened to hear teletheatre licence applications from Rideau Carleton Raceway via teleconference from Toronto.
Manager of Teletheatres Reg MacFarlane represented Rideau Carleton Raceway from Pembroke, Ontario. Manager, Information Services Wendy Hoogeveen represented the Administration in Toronto.
Upon hearing the submissions, the Ontario Racing Commission approved teletheatre licences as follows:

Site Operator: J. Claude Villeneuve and Madeleine Villeneuve known as Nation Tavern
subject to advising the Administration of the opening date.

Site Operator: Boretos and Tsotsos Limited known as Finnigan’s Restaurant
subject to advising the Administration of the opening date.
