JACQUELINE WARRINGTON
RULING
Jacqueline Warrington requested a hearing before a panel of the Ontario Racing Commission in accordance with Standardbred Ruling 137/2001. According to this Ruling, Ms. Warrington had to appear before an ORC panel before she could be reinstated as an Association Official.
On November 20, 2001, Vice-Chair Herbert Bryant convened with Commissioners Patricia Bullock and Dr. Bruce Duncan to consider the matter of Ms. Warrington’s reinstatement as an Association Official.
Counsel Jean-Marc MacKenzie appeared on behalf of Ms. Warrington and Counsel Joanne Mitchell appeared for the ORC Administration.
On hearing the evidence of Jacqueline Warrington, on reading the exhibits filed, and on hearing the submissions from the parties, the ORC panel declined to reinstate the Association Official licence of Jacqueline Warrington.
The reasons for decision were provided orally and form part of the transcript.
