COMMISSION HEARING TORONTO, ONTARIO – February 16, 2001
IN THE MATTER OF THE RACING COMMISSION ACT, R.S.O. 1990, c. R2;
AND IN THE MATTER OF A HEARING INTO TELETHEATRE OPERATIONS:
On February 16, 2001, Chair Stanley Sadinsky, Q.C. convened to hear an application for a teletheatre licence from Rideau Carleton Raceway via teleconferencing in Toronto. Wendy Hoogeveen appeared for the Administration in Toronto.
By telephone from Ottawa, Peter Andruchuk represented Rideau Careton Raceway.
Upon hearing the submissions, the Ontario Racing Commission approved a teletheatre licence as follows:
Licensee: Rideau Carleton Raceway
Site: 24 Perth Street, Brockville, Ontario
Site Operator: Adelaide Norton, for the site known as Brass Rack Billiards
effective February 23, 2001.
