On March 28, 2001, Chair Stanley Sadinsky, Q.C. convened to hear an application for a teletheatre licence from Sudbury Downs Raceway via teleconferencing in Kingston. Wendy Hoogeveen appeared for the Administration in Toronto.
By telephone from Sudbury, Mike McKee represented Sudbury Downs Raceway.
Upon hearing the submissions, the Ontario Racing Commission approved a teletheatre licence as follows:
Licensee: Sudbury Downs Raceway
Site: Highway 108, Elliot Lake, Ontario P5A 2T1
Site Operator: 742929 Ontario Ltd.. known as Inn on the Lake
effective March 30, 2001.
The Ontario Racing Commission cancelled the teletheatre licences as follows:
Licensee: Sudbury Downs Raceway
Site: 557 Kathleen Street, Sudbury, Ontario P3C 4N1
Site Operator: 1103242 Ontario Inc., known as The Frood Hotel
Site: 151 Ontario Street, Elliot Lake, Ontario
Site Operator: 1372061 Ontario Ltd., known as One Fifty One
