COMMISSION HEARING TORONTO, ONTARIO – September 14, 2000
IN THE MATTER OF THE RACING COMMISSION ACT, R.S.O. 1990, c. R2;
AND IN THE MATTER OF A HEARING INTO TELETHEATRE OPERATIONS:
On September 14, 2000, Chair Stanley Sadinsky, Q.C. convened to hear an application from the Ontario Teletheatre Network via teleconferencing in Toronto. Wendy Hoogeveen appeared for the Administration in Toronto.
By telephone from Elmira, Patti Ritter represented the Ontario Teletheatre Network as managed by Elmira Raceway.
Upon hearing the submissions, the Ontario Racing Commission approved teletheatre licence as follows:
Licensee: Ontario Teletheatre Network, as managed by Elmira Raceway
Site: 56 Kingston Street, Goderich, Ontario N7A 3K4
Site Operator: Royal Canadian Legion – Branch 109, operating as Royal Canadian Legion – Branch 109
effective September 15, 2000.
The Ontario Racing Commission cancelled the following teletheatre licence:
Licensee: Ontario Teletheatre Network, as managed by Elmira Raceway
Site: 92 Court House Square, Goderich, Ontario N7A 1M7
Site Operator: Bedford Holdings Limited, operating as Bruno’s Lounge at the Bedford Hotel
effective immediately.
