COMMISSION HEARING TORONTO, ONTARIO – October 17, 2000
IN THE MATTER OF THE RACING COMMISSION ACT, R.S.O. 1990, c. R2;
AND IN THE MATTER OF A HEARING INTO TELETHEATRE OPERATIONS:
On October 17, 2000, Chair Stanley Sadinsky, Q.C. convened to hear an application for a teletheatre licence from The Ontario Jockey Club via teleconferencing in Kingston. Wendy Hoogeveen appeared for the Administration in Toronto.
By telephone from Rexdale, Brian Brett represented The Ontario Jockey Club.
Upon hearing the submissions, the Ontario Racing Commission approved a teletheatre licence as follows:
Licensee: The Ontario Jockey Club
Site: 165 Cross Avenue, Oakville, Ontario
Site Operator: 1329924 Ontario Inc. known as Dat’s Amore
effective November 6, 2000.
The Ontario Racing Commission cancelled the teletheatre licence as follows:
Licensee: The Ontario Jockey Club
Site: 165 Country Squire Lane
Site Operator: RJT Village Foods Ltd., known as Country Squire Tavern
