Decision

1This is a complaint filed on July 15, 2020, pursuant to subsection 4(1) of O Reg 378/07 under the Public Service of Ontario Act 2006, SO 2006 c. 35, Sch A. In it the Complainant, Michael Breslin, a Unit Sergeant at the Central North Correction Centre in Penetanguishene alleges that the Employer, by letter dated June 29, 2020, did suspend him for seven (7) days without just cause.

2At a hearing held on July 27, 2021 by way of mediation/arbitration, the Parties did enter into a Memorandum of Settlement resolving all matters in dispute between them relating to the within Complaint.

3At the request of Counsel for the Employer, with notice to the Complainant, the said Memorandum of Settlement is hereby issued as an Order of the Board.

4I retain jurisdiction with respect to implementation of the said Memorandum of Settlement only.
