DECISION OF THE TRIBUNAL: October 4, 2022
This is an application filed pursuant to section 24(5) of the Pay Equity Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.7 as amended (“the Act”).
A hearing of this application began on October 4, 2022. Following opening statements, the parties engaged in settlement discussions and reached an agreement to resolve this matter. The Tribunal adjourned the remainder of the hearing day, and hereby adjourns the hearing date scheduled for October 5, 2022, to allow the parties to execute a settlement document. The parties are to advise the Tribunal when the settlement is executed.
The October 25, 2022 hearing date will remain as scheduled, in the event that the parties are unable to execute the settlement. Should this matter be proceeding, the parties must advise the Tribunal with sufficient time for the Tribunal to ensure that documents have been sent in hard copy to the panel members.
