This is an application under the Pay Equity Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.7, as amended (“the Act”).
Section 4.2(1) of the Statutory Powers Procedure Act, R.S.O. 1990, permits a panel of one to determine this issue. Furthermore, the applicant has agreed that this matter can be determined by a sole presiding officer.
The application was not filed in accordance with the Tribunal’s Rules of Practice. By Registrar’s Letter dated July 22, 2021, the applicant was informed that they needed to complete the process or the application would be deemed abandoned. In bold letters, this notice said:
In order for the Board to process your application further, it must include the requested information. Please provide it to the Board and to the other parties within 10 working days from the date of this letter. Please ensure that a new Certificate of Delivery (showing the date you served the amended/completed application) is attached to the material you are filing.
If you fail to deliver and file the amended/completed application within the allotted time you will be deemed to have abandoned this application.
- The Tribunal received nothing further from the applicant. Accordingly, this application is deemed abandoned.
