Decision
1PEHT Case No. 3156-19-PE is an application filed pursuant to section 24(5) of the Pay Equity Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.7 as amended (“the Act”). This application was filed on February 11, 2020.
2PEHT Case No. 3350-19-PE is an application filed under the Act which requests an order varying the Review Officer’s order dated May 28, 2019 to extend the timelines set out in that order. No responses were filed.
3I convened a video conference call on May 29, 2020 with the parties. By decision dated May 29, 2020 the Tribunal set out a process by which the review of the pay equity plan was to be completed.
4By letter dated March 2, 2021 the parties wrote to the Tribunal and advised that they are making progress but may not be able to comply with the timelines set out in that decision.
5The Tribunal hereby extends each of the timelines as set out in the May 29, 2020 decision by six months.
6The Hospital is directed to file a status update with the Tribunal by no later than June 2, 2021.
