This is an application under the Pay Equity Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.7 as amended (“the Act”), in which the applicant has asserted that her job was not evaluated properly, and that a different male comparator should have been chosen by the respondent.
By decision dated February 12, 2020, I directed the applicant to file submissions in response to the respondent’s request to dismiss this application on a prima facie basis.
The applicant has requested an extension. The reasons she has given are that she did not receive a copy of the February 12, 2020 decision and that she is having difficulty retaining counsel.
The deadline for the applicant to file her submissions is extended to no later than 5:00 p.m. on March 23, 2020.
