DECISION OF THE TRIBUNAL: February 20, 2015
The Tribunal is in receipt of correspondence dated February 20, 2015 from counsel for the applicant requesting an adjournment of the hearing scheduled for February 23 and 27, 2015 due to a medical condition necessitating counsel’s immediate bed rest and cessation of work. Counsel attached a copy of a signed medical note to that effect from her attending physician.
As we indicated in our last decision, adjournments in this matter will only be granted in extraordinary circumstances. The circumstances cited by counsel meet that standard. Accordingly, the Tribunal consents to the adjournment of the hearing on February 23, 2015.
Before considering the request to adjourn the hearing on February 27, 2015, however, the Tribunal will first review the hearing materials that were submitted by counsel with her February 20, 2015 correspondence. The parties should expect a further decision by the Tribunal in advance of February 27, 2015.
