DECISION OF THE TRIBUNAL: January 16, 2015

[1]. This is an application under the Pay Equity Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.7, as amended (“the Act”). It relates to the Order of a Review Officer that was issued on November 28, 2013.

[2]. Further to my previous decision in this matter dated January 5, 2015, the Pay Equity Office has written to the Tribunal indicating that it does not object to this file being disposed of in the matter indicated. It does, however, take exception to any suggestion that it was a proper respondent to this application and ought to have filed a response to it.

[3]. Those submissions are well-founded. My sole intention in reciting the facts set out in the earlier decision was to provide a basis for my conclusion that the applicant’s request could be granted and this file closed.
