Decision

1This is an application under the Pay Equity Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.7, as amended (“the Act”).

2I am issuing this decision pursuant to the authority conferred in subsection 4.2(1) of the Statutory Powers Procedure Act.

3The Tribunal is in receipt of a written request by counsel for employees in a pay equity dispute (that does not appear to be before the Tribunal at this time) with Toronto District School Board (“TDSB”) for copies of the pleadings in this matter, which counsel says involves similar issues to those raised in the TDSB dispute.

4If any of the applicants or the responding party to the dispute currently before the Tribunal has any objection to the request of counsel, they are to file and deliver their written reasons on or before November 4, 2014, failing which the Tribunal intends to grant counsel’s request.
