DECISION OF THE TRIBUNAL: October 14, 2014
This is a referral to the Tribunal by the Pay Equity Office under section 24(5) of the Pay Equity Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.7 as amended (“the Act”) for enforcement of an order (“the Order”) made by a review officer against the responding party (“the Employer”).
Section 4.2(1) of the Statutory Powers Procedure Act permits a panel of one to decide this matter.
In its response filed on October 10, 2014, the Employer concedes that it has not yet complied with the Order, but has set out a timetable for doing so, pursuant to which it anticipates achieving compliance by mid-November 2014.
In the circumstances, this application is adjourned sine die until December 31, 2014, at which point it will be deemed terminated unless either party has requested prior to that date that the matter proceed.
I am not seized.
