DECISION OF THE TRIBUNAL: February 9, 2012
A Pre-Hearing Conference was held in connection with this matter on February 2, 2012.
By way of a Review Officer’s Order dated October 18, 2010, Touchstone Youth Centre was ordered to pay all outstanding pay equity retroactivity amounts to all employees and former employees within 90 days of the Order. Touchstone Youth Centre agrees that it is required to pay the money. However, it is the assertion of Touchstone Youth Centre that it does not have the financial resources to pay all of the money at this time. Touchstone Youth Centre asks that the Pay Equity Hearings Tribunal vary the October 18, 2010 Order so as to give it more time to make the payments.
This matter is hereby referred to the Registrar to schedule for one day of hearing.
File No. 0123-11-PE is adjourned pending the outcome of File No. 1443-11-PE.
