Decision

1This is an application under the Pay Equity Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.7, as amended (“the Act”) in respect of which we issued a decision dated July 15, 2011. That decision ordered the applicant to do certain things by August 16, 2011, but also afforded it an opportunity to make submissions respecting that deadline.

2By letter dated July 29, 2011, counsel for the applicant has detailed some practical difficulties it must overcome to comply with our order, and has requested that we therefore extend the deadline for compliance by a further 60 days. We note that that 60 day period would expire on a weekend.

3In the circumstances, therefore, the deadline for complying with our order is extended until Monday, October 17, 2011, and paragraph 57 of our July 15, 2011 decision is amended accordingly.
