DECISION OF THE TRIBUNAL: June 8, 2011
This is an application under section 24(5) of the Pay Equity Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.7, as amended (“the Act”).
By way of decision dated May 17, 2011, the Tribunal directed the Employer to deliver and file written submissions setting out why, given that the Employer had not filed a response, the Tribunal should not issue a decision as requested by the Pay Equity Office.
The Employer filed submissions with the Tribunal on May 18, 2011.
Having regard to the submissions filed by the Employer, the Tribunal hereby directs the Pay Equity Office to advise as to how it would like to proceed with this application.
