This is a Referral made by the Pay Equity Office on December 5, 2001. On agreement of the parties, the matter was adjourned sine die in April 2002. By letter dated April 22, 2003, counsel for the Pay Equity Office asked that the matter be re-listed for hearing.
The Tribunal scheduled a Pre-hearing Conference in the matter, but has since been advised, by letter dated May 12, 2003, that the parties would again like to have the matter adjourned sine die. Counsel for the Pay Equity Office explained that "The Employer has indicated that it will implement the posted pay equity plan, however, this is not yet completed. The Applicants have indicated their agreement with the compliance plan." We assume the "Applicants" to whom counsel refers are the persons who made the initial complaint to the Pay Equity Office.
The Tribunal agrees to adjourn this matter sine die. If none of the parties requests that it be brought on for hearing within one year of the date of this decision, the matter will be terminated without further notice to the parties.
