Court of Appeal for Ontario
Payne v. Carr
Date: 2000-03-07
J. Gardner Hodder (Polten & Hodder), for the appellants;
Counsel for the respondent not disclosed.
(Court File No. C26460)
[1] By the Court: The trial judge found as a fact that the appellant was aware of the consequences that might flow from the registering of an altered deed. The trial judge also concluded that the respondent had instructed the appellant to obtain the services of another solicitor before the registering of the deed. We are unable to state that the findings of fact were not supported by the evidence. In view of there findings we cannot find any error of law in the trial judge's conclusions. The appeal is therefore dismissed with costs.
Appeal dismissed.
