INTRODUCTION
1John and Marlene Horst (“Appellants”) filed an application for a Zoning By-law Amendment (“ZBA”). The purpose of the ZBA was to revise the zoning set out in the Township of Mapleton Zoning By-law 2010-080 (“Zoning By-law”) to permit a contractor’s business on an agricultural lot municipally known as 7433 Wellington Road 7 (“subject property”).
2The Township of Mapleton (“Township”) considered the application and issued a Notice of Refusal dated July 23, 2025. The Appellants appealed the Township’s refusal of the ZBA pursuant to s. 34(11) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P. 13, as amended (“Planning Act”).
