1This matter was originally scheduled as a Merit Hearing, however, prior to the Hearing, the Parties informed the Tribunal that they have resolved their issues and requested to convert this Hearing into a Case Management Conference (“CMC”) to schedule a date for a written Hearing.
2The matter before the Tribunal is the Appeal by Ryan Matthiesen (“Appellant”) arising from the conditions of the approval of the City of Mississauga for a development of the severed parcel of land, pursuant to ss. 53(19) of the Planning Act for the property located at 1520 Pinetree Crescent.
3The Appellant is seeking to develop the severed parcel with a new detached dwelling.
4The Tribunal marked the Notice of Hearing as Exhibit 1.
PARTICIPANT STATUS REQUEST
5In advance of the CMC, the Tribunal received one Participant Status request from the owner of a neighbouring property – Margaret Dunn. Ms. Dunn’s concerns are related to the stability of the slope and the structural integrity of the proposed building.
6The Tribunal granted Participant Status to Ms. Dunn and will take into account her concerns as identified in her Participant Statement when making a decision.
HEARING DATE
7At the request of the Parties, the Tribunal scheduled Thursday, October 2, 2025 as the written Hearing date. The Parties’ requested Order and supportive affidavit evidence is to be filed with the Tribunal before the Hearing date.

8The Tribunal directives above are so Ordered.
