MEMORANDUM OF ORAL DECISION DELIVERED BY STEVEN COOKE ON JANUARY 12, 2024, AND ORDER OF THE TRIBUNAL
1The matter before the Tribunal was a Case Management Conference (“CMC”) regarding the appeals against the Town of New Tecumseth (“Town”) town-wide comprehensive Zoning By-law Amendment pursuant to s. 34(19) of the Planning Act, for the Town Council's approval and implementation of By-law No. 2021-128.
2Counsel of 6324223 Canada Inc. informed the Tribunal that they had been engaging in ongoing discussions regarding specific sites. They reported that the discussions have been constructive and positive. As a result, both Appellant Parties have agreed to request that the appeals be dealt with as individual site-specific matters.
3The Tribunal granted the request to divide the appeals and scheduled a Video Hearing on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at 10 a.m. to address the appeals from 6324223 Canada Inc.
