INTRODUCTION
1The matter before the Tribunal is a Hearing de novo and concerns an Appeal brought by Vincent Santoro (“Appellant”) against the Committee of Adjustment (“CoA”) for the Township of Georgian Bay’s (“Township”) decision to refuse a Minor Variance Application A22-15 (“Application”) pursuant to s. 45(12) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13 (“Act”) as amended.
2The Application seeks to permit the building of a Sleeping Cabin on a shoreline residential lot on Six Mile Lake. Despite three Planning Reports authored by Deb McCabe, a planner employed by the Township of Georgian Bay, finding that the proposed variances are consistent with the Provincial Policy Statement, 2020
