MEMORANDUM OF ORAL DECISION DELIVERED BY T. PREVEDEL ON JULY 2, 2021 AND ORDER OF THE TRIBUNAL
1This was a status hearing after the last Case Management Conference held on March 29, 2021, to advise the Tribunal on the progress of expropriation proceedings.
2Mr. Alati advised the Tribunal that the Parties had agreed to a date of September 17, 2021 for a scheduled Hearing of Necessity, but that there was some uncertainty whether this date was still valid given the recent re-organization of the Ontario Land Tribunal.
3At the present time, there are no hearing dates scheduled for this matter. Tribunal staff are currently in the process of transitioning this matter to the Ontario Land Tribunal and reaching out to the Parties to schedule the Hearing.
ORDER
4The third CMC is scheduled to proceed by video hearing starting on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 10 a.m. If the Hearing of Necessity has not been scheduled in advance of this date, the Member may be spoken to.
