MEMORANDUM OF ORAL DECISION DELIVERED BY D.S. COLBOURNE AND G. BURTON ON JUNE 29, 2021 AND ORDER OF THE TRIBUNAL
The Tribunal conducted a Case Management Conference in this matter in order to consider three requests for party status, and to set a date for hearing.
Two adjoining landowners requested party status.
Submissions were made by both RioCan to the east and Madison to the west as adjoining landowners with issues in common – a proposed road, and the Golden Mile Secondary Plan, under appeal.
There was no opposition to those requests, and orally, they were made parties.
The TDSB has concerns over the inclusion and provision of schools in the area of the Golden Mile Secondary Plan. There was no opposition to their request to be a party to this appeal, and orally, they were made a party.
Both RioCan and Madison have hearings already scheduled in 2022.
The City has requested three weeks for the hearing of this matter after November 28, 2022.
If there is a need for a further CMC, they will request it.
All parties are requested to have developed and produced their Issues List by July 31, 2021.
