This is an employer Application under s. 68 of the Employment Standards Act (the “Act”) for Review of Order to Pay No. 57590 dated April 11, 2001 for $1,201.02.
The Official Receipt No. 65352 dated May 15, 2001, filed with the Board, confirms that the amount of $600.51 has been paid to the Director of Employment Standards. A copy of a cheque in the amount of $600.51 signed by Mike Addley, dated May 23, 2001, has been filed with the Board.
The Board cannot process this application until such time as the Director confirms that the requisite payment has been made. The applicant was directed to provide this information by decision dated August 17, 2001.
From the response received by 1358245 it appears there is a misunderstanding or miscommunication with respect to the amounts that have been paid. The applicant asserts the other half of the amount, $600.51, has been paid by Dr. Gerry Walman for a total of $1, 201.02.
No Official Receipt for the remaining amount has been filed with the Board. The Board hereby directs the applicant and the Ministry of Labour to confirm to the Board if a payment has been made for $600.51 by Dr. Gerry Walman.
If the Board does not receive a copy of an Official Receipt for the remaining amount of money with respect to Order to Pay No. 65352 by October 15, 2001 this matter will be terminated without any further notice to the parties.
