This is a reference by the Minister under the Hospital Disputes Labour Arbitration Act (the “Act”) to determine if the responding party is a “hospital” under the Act.
The matter is scheduled to be heard on June 29, 2001. The applicant has filed a letter dated May 28, 2001 requesting that the Board deal with the matter by written submissions. The responding party objects to this suggestion.
The Board will proceed to hear the matter on June 29, 2001. Parties are expected to appear and be prepared to present their case on that day.
