DECISION OF THE BOARD; November 22, 2001
1This is an employer application for review pursuant to section 68 of the Employment Standards Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.E-14, as amended (the "Act") in respect of Order to Pay No. 57629 issued by an Employment Standards Officer on January 16, 2001.
2The parties resolved part of this matter in minutes of settlement dated June 12, 2001. The hearing concerning the remaining issues in dispute commenced on November 21, 2001, but shortly thereafter, at the Board's invitation, the parties entered into discussion with the assistance of the Labour Relations Officer, and ultimately resolved the remaining issues.
3Having regard to the minutes of settlement dated November 21, 2001, I hereby order:
(i) that the wages paid to the "Director in trust" in relation to this matter be disbursed as follows:
to be paid to the Employer $1496.53
to be paid to the Employee nil
(ii) that the administration fee as set
out in the Order to Pay be retained
by the Government of Ontario
Consolidated Revenue Fund $ 149.65
(iii) that this matter is terminated.
