This is an application under section 69 and/or Subsection 1(4) of the Labour Relations Act, 1995, S.O. 1995, c.1 as amended ("the Act").
The parties met with a Labour Relations Officer and entered into the following Minutes of Settlement:

Minutes of Settlement
The Parties agree as follows:
Trans-North Industrial Siding Inc. (Trans-North) is bound to the collective agreement between the Ontario Sheet Metal and Air Handling Group and the Sheet Metal Workers’ International Association and the Ontario Sheet Metal Workers’ Conference, effective from May 1, 2001 until April 30, 3004 and the collective agreement between the Ontario Industrial Roofing Contractors’ Association and the Built-Up Roofers, Damp & Waterproofers’ section of the Ontario Sheet Metal Workers’ Conference and the Sheet Metal Workers’ International Association, effective from May 1, 2001 to April 30, 2004.
Trans-North and Nova Steel Systems Sudbury Inc. (“Nova Steel”) carry on associated or related businesses or activities under common control or direction within the meaning of section 1(4) of the Labour Relations Act and constitute one employer for the purposes of the Act.
Trans-North and Nova Steel are bound to the collective agreements cited in paragraph one above and agree to comply with the terms and conditions of the collective agreements.
The Parties request that these Minutes of Settlement be incorporated into a Consent Order of the Ontario Labour Relations Board.
