DECISION OF THE BOARD; July 9, 2001
This is an application for certification. A representation vote was held on June 20, 2001. The vote was tied and one ballot was segregated and not counted. The responding party took the position that the individual who cast the ballot should be included in the bargaining unit. The applicant took the position that she should be excluded. However, in correspondence dated June 21, 2001 the applicant concedes that the individual should be included in the bargaining unit. It asks that, pursuant to the Board’s practice in such circumstances, a second representation vote be held. The Board hereby directs the responding party to file its submissions, if any, in response to the applicant’s request on or before 12:00 p.m. Tuesday July 10, 2001.
