DECISION OF THE BOARD; June 19, 2001
1The Board is in receipt of submissions, dated May 24, 2001 (faxed to the Board on June 14, 2001) from an objecting employee in this application for certification.
2The certificate was issued to the applicant pursuant to a decision of the Board (differently constituted) dated June 6, 2001 in which similar employee objections were considered and rejected. The vote was held and counted on May 23, 2001. The ensuing Notice of Report of the Board Officer advised all concerned that any representations regarding any issues in dispute, any matter relating to the representation vote, the accuracy of the returning officer’s report, or the conclusions the Board should reach in view of the report, must be filed with the Board no later than May 30, 2001.
3As indicated, the employee’s submissions referred to in paragraph 1 above were received by the Board on June 14, 2001. No reason for the late filing is advanced, nor does the employee seek the permission of the Board to extend the time limits for filing her representations.
4In all the circumstances, the Board declines to consider the employee’s representations at this stage.
