DECISION OF THE BOARD; June 27, 2001
This is an application for certification which was withdrawn prior to a representation vote being held. The responding party has requested that the applicant be barred from filing another application for certification for the period of a year. The parties have filed submissions with respect to that issue. The Board has now considered the submissions of the parties and has decided that a bar ought not to be imposed. This decision is consistent with the Board’s practice in similar cases and with the jurisprudence. Further reasons for this decision will follow in due course.
