DECISION OF THE BOARD; July 20, 2001
By letter dated July 19, 2001, the responding party asked for a clarification of the bargaining unit description proposed by the applicant.
The Board is in receipt of a letter from the applicant dated July 20, 2001 in which the applicant clarifies its bargaining unit description. That letter amends the bargaining unit description as follows:
all employees in the Corporation of the Town of Ajax Operation and Environmental Services Department, Recreation Services Department and all office, clerical, technical employees, who are regularly employed for not more than 24 hours per week and all students employed during the school vacation period, save and except supervisors and persons above the rank of supervisor and persons for whom any trade union holds bargaining rights as of the date of application.
We understand that this language is parallel to the provisions of the full-time unit.
- The time limit for the filing of the response is extended until Tuesday, July 24, 2001 at 5:00 p.m.
