DECISION OF THE BOARD; April 6, 2001
1This is a joint application for the early termination of a collective agreement between Christian Labour Association of Canada (“CLAC”) and Sysco Foodservice of Ontario (“Sysco”).
2The application has been processed by the Board. The employer has been directed to post notices to employees. A terminal date of April 12, 2001 has been set.
3The National Automobile, Aerospace, Transportation and General Workers’ Union of Canada (CAW-Canada) seeks intervenor status. They seek to have the Board set an open period of three months before consenting to the early termination of the collective agreement. The CAW does not claim that any affected employees are its members.
4If the CLAC and/or Sysco wish to take a position on the CAW’s requests, they must file submissions with the Board no later than Tuesday, April 10, 2001 at 5:00 p.m.
