Between:
Toronto Civic Employees’ Union, Local 416 Canadian Union of Public Employees, Applicant v. The Canadian Union of Public Employees Local Union N. 79, Responding Party v. City of Toronto, Intervenor.
BEFORE: Mary Anne McKellar, Vice-Chair.
DECISION OF THE BOARD; August 14, 2001
DECISION
1The Board is in receipt of a facsimile transmission from the applicant dated August 14, 2001, in which it requests that the Board reconsider its decision of August 14, 2001 directing it to provide particulars within two weeks of the date of that decision on the basis that “the writer was on vacation on July 31, 2001 and the Board’s decision was not brought to our attention at that time [and] we have not been able to locate a copy of that decision in our search of the office this morning”. In the alternative, the applicant seeks to have the Board extend the time for providing the particulars to September 30, 2001.
2On review of the reasons provided in support of the request for reconsideration, the request for reconsideration is dismissed.
3The responding party and the intervenor are directed to advise the Board by August 16, 2001 if they object to the Board’s extending the time for providing particulars, failing which the time for providing such particulars shall be deemed to have been extended to September 30, 2001.
