1710-00-HS Armbro Construction Ltd., Applicant v. Labourers Local 527 Ottawa and Ministry of Labour, Responding Parties.
BEFORE: Inge M. Stamp, Vice‑Chair.
DECISION OF THE BOARD; April 24, 2001

Our File No. 22574
Appeal Hearing Date: May 10, 2001
Please be advised that the Order in question issued August 27, 2001 was rescinded on April 12, 2001. A copy is attached. This appeal is now moot, and I am requesting that the hearing date be vacated.

cc: Appendix “A”
Apprendix “A” indicates that copies of the above letter were sent to the other parties.
2A copy of Inspector Cochrane’s report (atached to the above letter) in F.V. #963302 dated April 12, 2001 was filed with the Board. This report states the purpose of the visit was to follow up on orders issued August 27/01 [sic]. (The Board notes this date should be August 27/00). Under summary of orders the Inspector states: “order #001 issued in F.V. report 992595 is rescinded”.
3The Board’s decision in this matter of October 31, 2001 suspended the operation of the “two orders” issued by Inspector Dave Cochrane in Field Visit No. 415113 dated August 27, 2000 pending the disposition of the instant appeal.
4The Board notes that the reference in paragraph 1 of the October 31, 2001 decision to “two orders issued by Inspector Dave Cochrane in Field Visit No. 415113 dated August 27, 2000” does in fact refer to Order #001 issued in Field Visit No. 992595.
5Inspector Cochrane’s Report of his visit on August 27, 2000 refers to P/P ID #415113, Case ID #992596 and FV No. 992596.
6If any of the other parties oppose the Ministry’s request they are directed to file their written submissions with the Board and the other parties within 7 days of the date of this decision. If no submissions have been received by May 4, 2001, this matter will be deemed to be terminated without any further notice to the parties.
“Inge M. Stamp”
for the Board
