DECISION OF THE BOARD; June 1, 2001
1The responding party requests an extension of time for the filing of its response. It also contends that the Board not deal with the application because the subject matter can be, and is being, addressed through the grievance procedure in the parties collective agreement.
2Counsel for the applicant takes no position with respect to the responding party’s extension request, but contends that, in the absence of a filed response, the Board should not defer dealing with the application.
3The time for the filing of the responding party’s response is hereby extended to June 15, 2001. In the absence of a filed response, we decline to make any determination at this time regarding the deferral of this application.
