DECISION OF THE BOARD; August 15, 2001
By decision dated July 27, 2001 the applicants were provided with the opportunity to make submissions to the responding party’s request that the application be dismissed. The applicants were advised that the failure to do so would result in the application being dismissed. No submissions were received. That decision came about as a consequence of a number of other decisions which gave the applicants ample opportunity to present its position to the Board.
Having failed to do so and as provided for in the July 27, 2001 decision, this application is hereby dismissed.
The Registrar will destroy the ballots cast in the representation vote taken in this matter following the expiration of 30 days from the date of this decision unless a statement requesting that the ballots should not be destroyed is received by the Board from one of the parties before the expiration of such 30 day period.
4 The employer is directed to post copies of this decision immediately, adjacent to the "Notice of Vote and of Hearing" posted previously. These copies must remain posted for a period of 30 days.
