Decision
1This is an appeal of an inspector's Order filed pursuant to section 61(1) of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, R.S.O. 1990 ch. 0.1 (“the Act”).
2Section 61 provides that an appeal shall be filed within “30 days after the making of the order”. The Order is dated February 26, 2001. Thirty days from that date is March 28, 2001. This application was filed on April 12, 2001. The Act does not give the Board any jurisdiction to extend the time limits set out in section 61. Accordingly, this application must be dismissed.
