1This is an application to review the refusal of the Employment Standards Officer to issue an order.
2At the appointed commencement time for the hearing no one appeared on behalf of the applicant. The Board, as is its usual practice, stood the matter down for a half hour in the event the applicant had been unavoidably delayed. However, when the hearing commenced shortly after 10:00 a.m., the applicant had yet to appear and the hearing proceeded in his absence.
3The parties who were present at the hearing moved that the application be dismissed in view of the applicant’s failure to attend. I indicated that I would do so.
4This application is hereby dismissed.
