DECISION OF THE BOARD; August 15, 2001
1This is an application for certification filed under the construction industry provisions of the Labour Relations Act, 1995, S.O. 1995, c. 1, as amended ("the Act").
2By decision dated August 14, 2001, the Board ordered the holding of a representation vote. The Board attempted delivery to the responding employer by courier of its decision and the Notice of Vote to Employees so that the Board’s decision and information concerning the impending vote are properly brought to the attention of the affected employees. Delivery of the documents was refused when the courier attempted to do so.
3The Board directs that a Labour Relations Officer be sent to the premises of the responding party so that the Board’s earlier decision, this decision and the Notice of Vote to employees can be properly posted in order that those documents come to the attention of the affected employees.
