1This is an application for review of a decision of an employment standards officer dated June 21, 2001 filed under the Employment Standards Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.E-14, as amended. The date for which the application would have been timely was August 7, 2001. The date that the application was filed was August 22, 2001. The application is therefore untimely.
2The applicant seeks an extension of time. She outlines the efforts she made to obtain the proper forms and pursue the matter.
3Having regard to the fact that the application for review is less than two weeks late and the applicant appears to have made diligent efforts to pursue the matter on her own behalf, the time for filing the application for review is hereby extended to August 22, 2001 the date upon which it was filed.
4This matter is referred to the Registrar for processing in the normal course.
