1This is an application filed under the Employment Standards Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.E-14, as amended for review of a decision of an employment standards officer.
2That decision is contained in a letter dated October 5, 2001. The employment standards officer denied the applicants’ claim on the basis that they were covered by a collective agreement at the time of the alleged violation.
3The applicants are represented by counsel for the Canadian Union of Public Employees. There are four applicants. However, the Ministry of Labour does not have a record of a claim for one of the applicants, Karlene Steinke. There is no October 5, 2001 letter from the employment standards officer to this applicant.
4The Board cannot entertain an application for review when no claim has been filed. The application as it relates to Ms. Steinke will be terminated unless she provides the Board within 10 days of the date of this decision with any reason why it can consider her application for review.
