Decision of the Board
1The Board is in receipt of correspondence dated May 28, 2001 from counsel for the responding party requesting that this matter be dismissed without a hearing. Counsel points out that the application was filed in November 1999, that one of the applicants has withdrawn from the application, and that the other, Mr. Carbone, has not taken any "further action" in this matter since a meeting with the Labour Relations Officer on January 26, 2000.
2It is not clear to the Board what action it is the responding party believes Mr. Carbone was required to take. However, given that the application was filed some time ago, and has yet to be scheduled for a consultation, the Board directs Mr. Carbone to indicate in writing to the Board and the other parties in this matter whether he wishes to proceed with the application. He must do so on or before June 18, 2001, failing which this matter will be terminated.
